With the Visual Express project open: |

In Solution Explorer right click 'References'. |

Select 'Add Reference' in the context menu. |

The 'Add Reference' dialog box appears: select the 'Browse' tab. |

Navigate to the file and click it. |

Just to check that the assembly has been referenced, expand the 'References'
node and look for the assembly's name in the list. |

NOTE:
Once an item has been referenced in this way, don't move it other wise you will
need to reference it again from it's new location. |
