UpHill River end user license agreement for software use and distribution.

By downloading, installing or using UpHill River software you accept and agree to the terms of the UpHill River Software license text below.
User Quotas: When UpHill River software is shown as having a 'User Quota': the purchase of one license grants the purchaser the right to download and install a stated number of copies (User Quota) of the UpHill River software on a computer (or computers) on a 'per user' basis. The stated number will be shown on the download page and represents the allowed number of separate installations per single unit purchase. For example: (for a single unit purchase) software with a 'User Quota' of 4 may be installed once each by four separate users on four separate computers or by four separate users on one computer.

Computer Quotas: When UpHill River software is shown as having a 'Computer Quota': the purchase of one license grants the purchaser the right to download and install a stated number of copies (Computer Quota) of the UpHill River software on a 'per computer' basis. The stated number will be shown on the download page and represents the allowed number of separate installations per single unit purchase. For example: (for a single unit purchase) software with a 'Computer Quota' of 4 may be installed on four separate computers and may be freely used by all users of those computers.

Each user must perform their own activation. A user is defined as one person who logs-on to one profile on one computer (or in a network server/client environment - one client or 'workstation') running a Microsoft Windows operating system of the required specification.
UpHill River software is provided by the author "as is" and any express or implied warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed. In no event shall the author or UpHill River be liable for any direct, indirect, exemplary, special, incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, loss of use, data, or profits; business interruption; or procurement of substitute goods or services) however caused and on any of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
You may not use, rent, lease, sell, modify, copy, emulate, clone, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program without written permission of the author, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.
There is only one type of license issued for Uphill River software, but there may be different price bands and user quotas depending on the number purchased and type of use (business or personal). There are no additional license fees, apart from the cost of purchasing a license, associated with the creation and distribution of UpHill River software. Anyone may use this software during any stated trial period. After this trial period, if you wish to continue to use the UpHill River Software, you must purchase a license.
The terms also apply to any of the following: UpHill River software when supplied free of charge, updates, supplements, Internet-based services, and support services for this software, unless other terms accompany those items. If so, those terms apply.
All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by George Starr and UpHill River. Installing and using this software signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the license. If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove all UpHill River software files from your storage devices and cease to use the product. All copyrights to Up Hill River software are exclusively owned by the author – George Starr.
If you do not accept these terms, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DOWNLOAD, INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.
